ABI is Saluda’s
cymbal insurance program that
will insure any of your cymbals
that are made of B20 bronze.
This insurance program will also
cover additional cymbals that
are not in B20 alloy. Make sure
you read through all information
below to learn more about this
money saving opportunity.

What does ABI
cover? This insurance covers the
following:
1. Your cymbal will be covered in case
of an edge crack up to 1/2". Most
cracks start very small and grow overy
time. So ,when you find an edge crack,
immediately take the cymbal off your
kit and send it in before the crack
gets over1/2”.
In
case of an edge crack 1/2” or under,
Saluda Cymbals will replace the
cracked cymbal.
2. It will also
cover body cracks. Body cracks are not
as common as edge cracks, except in
chinas. For body cracks, the ABI
Insurance will cover these type cracks
up to 1". China cymbal normally will
form a crack in the bend. We highly
recommend putting ABI Insurance on
your chinas.
What cymbal will
I get in return? You will get a
Saluda comparable cymbal to replace
your cracked cymbal. Saluda is very
determined to make sure each and every
cymbal sounds as good as possible
before shipping.
What are the
costs for ABI? The size of your
cymbal determines the insurance costs,
which are shown below. When you are
checking out, please make sure you
write in the checkout comments the
exact cymbal or cymbals you are
insuring.

Note about hi-hats:
The ABI Insurance covers both top and
botth hats. If either the top or
bottom hat cracks, you are to send in
both hats and Saluda will send a new
set of hi-hats (top and bottom).

Question: I
purchased insurance on my cymbal(s).How
long does the insurance cover my
cymbals?
Answer: All
cymbals insured will be covered for 10
years from the time insured.
Question:
What if I buy a cymbal that has an
edge crack? Can I purchase insurance
on it and get the replacement?
Answer: If
you purchase insurance on it and the
crack is 1/2" or less, we will replace
the cymbal.
Question:
What if the crack on my cymbal is over
1/2"?
Answer:
You can
still trade the cymbal in which it
will have trade in value to use
toward a replacement Saluda cymbal.
The closer the crack is to 1/2", the
more trade in value.
Question:
Can you go into more detail about
cracked hi-hats?
Answer: If
you get an edge crack that is 1/2” or
less on either top or bottom hat, we
will replace both of your hi-hat
cymbals with a new set of hats. You
have to send us both top and bottom
hi-hat cymbals.
